Nissan Newb turbo Spec V
It was suggested when I went to make a post that I introduce myself. I joined after seeing a link from another forum.
So here's a couple pics of my 2002 Nissan Sentra.
Motor has aebs sleeves, forged low comp pistons and rods, Electromotive TECIII, from Jim Wolf Technologies came clutch/flywheel, bsr kit, custom turbo cams and valve springs, jwt also designed the pistons initially and everyone copied it (4mm longer and raised wrist pin)....jic flta2 for suspension and only brake mod is front drilled/slotted brembo calipers.
I've been working on a carputer forever but should have it in over the next couple of weeks.
On a cold night this car can spin new Azenis at the top of 4th but I rarely use the high boost setting. The Spec Vs only rev to 6200rpm because of rediculously fast piston speeds. The mechanics say 7200 is teh limit now so I set it to 7K.

It went in making more power on the old software but I can run 91oct now. I gotta drive all the way across town for 94oct.
Marco knows his though and the powerband is so much more linear now. I've read and read the TEC manual and I don't have a freakin clue how the attitude of the car could change so much but it's all good.

I'll come out to a track day (which I haven't yet) but no street racing for me. I've been in front of a judge begging to keep my license a little 3rd gear pull got me a 112 in a 50 which the jugde dropped to 99 but a got a couple more after too.
I might actually sell it in the spring but I said that this year and couldn't do it.
The plates are my business...Smoke with CHILLS or smoke in hell. Chillin1 is a beat up Dodge van that some of you may have seen at festivals.
The turbo was made for the car - GT3540 ballbearing turbocharger (with Precision T3 and T04E housings)
Here's how far I am with the touch screen
