i think there staged because why would there be people standing there filming and they always go past it

because the filming is staged. they most probably have checkpoints where they are told to go through to get the shots, and thats what they follow.

In this case I believe that the M driver was told to go through a certain set of check points, i guess they didn't tell him that it was ghost rider on the bike.

Althought its hard to believe that the M driver didn't know. In anycase, the drive, the chase was real, most probably not practised b4, but the route was set.
