2006 Dallas Auto Show & Private Camaro Unveiling
 

Well, As some are aware I was one of the lucky 100 (plus a guest each) To get to the Dallas Auto Show a day early and get to see the Camaro Unveiling. What an amazing night...Everyone came and parked as a group (thats about 75-100 fbodys) Went in and talked for a bit then went to the Chevy expo....There it was under wraps waiting to be seen for us in person. Scott Settlemiere(sp) took the wraps off the car and talked about it for a while. Just as they let everyone get in there pics of it he came and chatted with me for about 15-20mins. What an amazing man im suprised he remembers me from the State Fair. Sadly, not as many pics as I wanted but they came out nicely.


Oh yeah...the car is about 500x better in person. I told scott I want mine in a sunset orange and a black stripe...he said ok well get it when its out.

I was looking through your pictures and maybe someone else can tell me why but take a look at the rear plate on this S7.

Just on the other side of that wall was the Lambos...they were roped in the same display. Its the Lambo of Dallas dealer...they probably brought that car to. The other Saleen cars didnt have that plate they had the Saleen plate.

Yeah I was gonna say, probably a lambo dealer...

On a side note, I saw my first ferrari on the road today... yes in minnesota. mxracerbrian (brian) and I couldnt believe it.. I thought it was a lambo at first, but definitly sweet nonetheless.

Yea was nice seeing all the cars before the auto show opened.
