thats right, the biggest downfall of the car is the high theft rate.

makes your wonder why they had all those ferraris and lamborghinis in gone in 60 seconds. They should have had a mugen SI since its god's gift to car enthusiasts.

TTZ_JSpec 11-19-2007 01:12 PM

haha that is who'd a thought it?

ivperformance 11-19-2007 04:08 PM

lol, you kids make me it sound like its a limited edition lambo, its a civic for gods sake I mean this just made me laugh:

You know what I consider the most sad part of all of this...the little bed wetting kids who see the vids. of a cr-x with a b18c-R on spray/turbo eat a lambo and in their pants and want to tell the world about it. Now don't get wrong here, I am a honda owner and love my car and those vids. but these kids cheapen the hard working engineers that make honda engines what they are today. Let's be real about it...honda engines are reliable and produce impressive numbers stock and built any which way you slice it. I'm sure the owners in Japan thought they'd grace the US with an integral part of Japan which is Mugen Power. What happens? Yep...the bed wetters come out and cheapen it.

I gotta be honest...from an engineering perspective honda is a very impressive product. Which will make records for insurance rates of cars over 15 years old readily available without turbo I'm sure.

That's my .02

this is not called vandalism, this is called stealing rims... they obviously didnt try to ruin the car, they just wanted the rims it had on
thats how many people make money

no, im obviously not saying this is better than a limited edition lambo or a carerra GT but after trying to bring down the cars value, the only argument I could filter out from your ignorant post was that the car would be at high risk of theft. Yes, its a civic, but for 30k I wouldn't buy anything else. K-series motors are ****in bulletproof, the potential for that thing is unreal.

srt-4 > mugen si? 230 horsepower out of a 2.4L turbo charged motor OR 200 horsepower out of a 2.0L naturally aspirated motor. Ya, i'll take the srt-4 anyday? Also, the Honda will be more reliable than its mopar counterpart and it will look better doing it...just because you hate on honda's doesn't mean your opinion needs to be biased.

ivperformance 11-20-2007 04:05 PM

im not hating on honda's mate, i mean I suggested a civic to my sister when she wanted a reliable car to move from point a to point b, i also suggested a corolla, but thats besides the point. The car is not flawless, which is what you make is seem like it is, its a good method of transportation but in no way is the theft rate the only flaw in it.

ForceFedSi 11-20-2007 04:20 PM

for that price, name me another flaw... not being offered in AWD is the only thing.

hahahaha thats the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard. How many K series motors handle 400whp 400wtq stock? Oh right.....honda's dont make more than 100 wtq  . No need to hate because a neon has more potential than your fancy grocery getter Honda SI.

The way you talk about K series motors, you would think Buggatti will be swapping out their quad turbo W12 for an N/A K series motor :retard:

And what is your "more reliable" theory based on? because sport compact car said so? Not a bit biased....are you?

it looks like a riced out piece of ?

COONHOUND 11-20-2007 08:13 PM

^^^ I dont want to take sides but i test drove the srt4 and with its straight line performance i was impressed. But i was disappointed with the handling it felt like an overweight cow on wheels. I was amazed on how crappy that thing felt in the corners:thumbsdow

RonBurgundy 11-20-2007 08:36 PM

^^^ it probably needs some mugen badges and/or stickers to handle better.
