Volkswagen and Audi are the same company. They own Bugatti and Lamborghini. They did not buy Rolls Royce. BMW bought Rolls Royce.
And why would quality decrease with Volkswagon owning Lambo? Volkswagen and are known for their high standards and quality. High price Italian supercars are know for having mechanic problems due to quality. In fact, Volkswagen owning Lambo should bring more quality to Lamborghini cars. |
Lambo was an overprised piece of ... It was twichy, impractical and over the head expensive... You couldn't park the car backwards if your life depended on it...
But the engine was... OMG... when it growls it makes your soul cry... I want to take one out for a spin... I still think it was a POS back in the day... The new ones are a different story...!! The Germans perfected it... The car has the Italian looks and a german soul... http://www.auto-sfondi-desktop.com/W...ago-01_640.jpg |

I still think it was a POS back in the day... especially this one.... still one of THE most prettiest cars on the planet... Lambos were all about crazy, stupid, and absolutely non senseical... the enginnering the Germans put into it may have make the car better... but from the design itself.... Lambo lost it's soul.... |

I agree very much with this comment. The two engineers are at two completely different ends of the spectrum. AS Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson put it oh so nicely, "It's like mixing German and Italian cooking". Which is very true, because it just simply doesn't work. A Shnitzel dosed in olive oil and topped with parmesan, maranera sauce, and garlic would be a rather odd dish. (actually come to think about it it may taste good.) But you get the idea. When the italian's made the car, it was an art to them. Going fast while doing was just a by product. Now the art here is the infamous deutch engineering, rather than a beautiful italian artist. But no means do I say the Lambo of these days are ugly cars, far from it. But compare it to the old countash, diablo..anything. There was something about those cars that made them so rediculous, and so wanting that many didn't care about the problems with the car, they were just happy they had one. Now its just the opposite. |
