what a waste. the CTS is about 40Gs wheres as the CTS-V is 70Gs? this caddy will prolly be 75-80Gs!?! who the hell is going to buy them?

xtremekaz 08-13-2005 12:53 PM

yea the CTS V may be $70,00 but its still lower then all in its class

dj_jake 08-13-2005 02:16 PM

actually, the srt8 300c is well in its class, and costs about half.

hah, gm is bringing out high performance cts's, when the current V isnt even selling that hot. good work gm

Red Liner 08-13-2005 08:24 PM

yeah, whats up with that?

they are also coming up with a souped up version of the Corvette....as the Z06 is apparenlty NOT enough...

Jon04CTS 08-13-2005 09:17 PM

That got canned a while ago. Was supposed to be a "Super V", never happened :(

well caddy is trying to get up there.
you have no idea what its like driving a CTS until you drive one. I drove one and fell in love the asking price for an 2.8 is about 45,000 out the door. CTSv is around 70's and then theres the STSv which has the northstar engine 4L now stuper charged pushing out 500hbs.

I geuss their trying to go after the E55 amg and the new m5?

I have a 3.6L. It's an AWESOME car. I love it to death. The V's my dream car. And I have no idea how a 2.8L came up to $45,000 out the door. I got my 2004 3.6L brand new for around $48k out the door.

Same here. If I ever get the loot I am buying a V. I saw a black one a little while back and it looked awesome.

Where are the pictures taken? At the Nürburgring or is it from some American track?

Sure looks Hot to Me.

CTS-V starts at $77,000 with a 405 hp Vette Engine. My boss's son bought the first one in Ontario. Its quick.

The XLR-V and the STS-V are still in the works. I think if I had a choice of the 3 it would be the XLR.
