where did u get the oil supply kit? location?, im currently doing b20vtec and am having a hard time finding the kit.
|
i bought it off of lightningmotorsports.com
http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/ge_engine.htm Make sure you check the head gasket before just putting it in, they are well known for giving out the wrong ones i just picked up a b20 one from honda and enlarged the dowel pin holes |
all you need now are a nice set of rims, nice swap.....clean ride!
|
damn, i was hoping for somthing local to pick it up, guess i gatta order it. i was hoping to start on it this weekend but guess not.:smilie_d0
|
looks good man, must go pretty good with that motor
|
nice..
what did the car run in the 1/4? |
I haven't run it on the 1/4 yet, going to track on the 14th.
I have rims, but the GF wont let me take them back off her car, lol, so im thinking i might just find some stock civic hubcaps for that stock sleeper look. Just until i can find some rims cause the steelies look like ass. |
quite the sleeper there...
get rims and itll be even nicer(as stated) |
ran it at shannonville...
14.09 @ 98.2 mph against a b20vtec eg that ran 14.00 @ 101.8 mph main difference between the motors was he had type-r top end |

i do have slicks, not very good ones though, only 6.5' wide.
the other guy was running azenis and we were even through the 60' this is also at shannonville, i could probably shave off at least another 0.2 just by going to cayuga |
my friends eg has a b20 vtec and he put slicks on it, he ran a 12.9 1/4. There is a vid on you tube, i will try to find it.
|
yah bro ur not gonna get to far on the wal mart all seasons drag radial at least ul run better times
|
i was running low to mid 13s on 20x8x14s. spinning 1st to 3rd.. the slicks i got were used and was so and worn out.. surprised that i got those times with it. i didnt have a 60 ft better than a 2.0. 00' b16 / 99' b20b / b16 tranny(non lsd) / ctr cams / intake / 2' exhaust / untuned. got another guy with the same setup with all bolt ons and an lsd tranny and was running 12.7 all day. i've seen b20vtecs hit close to, if not, 200whp with just itr or ctr cams, all the bolt ons and with a good tuner.:smilie_da
