Just saying bye to an old friend. She's done us well over the last 9 years, but we're moving on. She's going to another dub fiend, in trade for a MK2 GTI, that's going to be a full race car. Here's a couple pics.

The white bunny in the back is my 83 GTI. She's staying, as the body is a little better than the grey one, and it's got a sunroof.

That's 164,000 KMs, not miles, and she was towed for most of that behind an RV. We figure she's got maybe 90k on the drivetrain. So, bye baby, and hopefully the guy who gets her will post some pics when he gets her done. :(

It's alright, I've still got the motor, but the turbo 2l 16v is going into the MK2 GTI.:smilie_da Then, I can race in the class I built the last one for.

It's up in the gallery. All it needs is to have the stock paint redone. I'm almost done the 2l 16v twin carb motor for it.:smilie_da Also why I go by rabbitman.

Flares are factory. Wheels are Passat 15" estorils, but the tires are too big. I haven't gotten around to putting the 205/50r/15 Falken tires that are in my garage yet.

so what are you planning on doing to the white one???

Street legal 2l 16v with dual 40mm Delorto carbs. Minor port and Polish, and cams, header, and 2.5" exhaust, with Hooker street muffler. I had that muffler on my turbo rabbit, but I'm not sure if it'll be too loud without the turbo. Loud is not cool.

I would if I had any. Sold it last summer, and didn't have a digicam until christmas this year. Just picture a flat black rabbit with round headlights.
