The guy bought the car one week and returned to the dealership the very next week to get new rear tires put on because he had worn out the first ones already. Then on his second day in a roll at the track he snapped an axle so the car is getting warrenty work done.

haha. my dads friend bought a C6 a while back, and ovaled out the seals in the rear end from wheel hop and burnouts. they were interested in figuring out what went wrong so sent his broken transaxle setup to Bowling Green, KY and gave his car a brand new one. lol. gotta love warantys.

Sounds like the same problem Ford had when the Powerstroke came out. A whole lot of power but the rest of the car cannot take it. One thing I cannot understand is how some people are saying they can't wait to see the LS7 with something like a blower or a big shot of nitrous. Ok this engine is a 427 small block, I know it can take some power adders but at the same time this engine is bored very thin.

its been resleeved and i bet the block can still be bored .060 over when needed and it can hold a big shot of n20 or a blower... they have been useing the c5r block(i think its very similar or the same) to build n20 and blower 427's for a while now and they have made over 1000hp with no problems

with radials you want to do small burnouts to just clean the tires, too much heat and they don't hook as well
