WoW yea i have heard of some **** like that but i dont think there is anything i can do to my car aside from of road headers that would make my car illigal in CO

NoRiceInside 03-13-2006 05:14 PM

maybe it would have been a good idea to put the timing cover back on. stupid ricer.

and the MSD box is legal, it does have a CARB certification number.

lol, thats probly y the hose was illegal too.
That's pretty gay, he didn't even mention the CAI but he said that the ignition was illegal

archemedes 03-13-2006 06:25 PM

alot of that stuff is illegal in all states. If you look at the disclaimers in the catalogs it always says noy legal for sale on pullution controlled vehicles, that's any car sold in the US after '75 or so.

blue89vert 03-13-2006 06:26 PM

you dont have to take emissions if your car is pre-73 or somethin right?

depends on the area, some states are trying to get any car done, but most states it's 25 years is the cutoff

blue89vert 03-13-2006 06:31 PM

This is why I would never want to live in Cali. They seem to be the only state that has a burnt set of pubes over it.

blue89vert 03-13-2006 06:36 PM

i dont get how so many hot rods are from so cal but they are so strict about everything

rice burner 03-13-2006 07:29 PM

that video pis**d me off! why would the police pull u over just because u modified your car thats bs.. if i decided to put a exhaust would that be illegal or how about gauges ...i wish i had got pulled over by a cop tellin me something like that!I'll put my foot so far up his ***..anyway i saw a street racing video that was shot in cali..and a bunch a ricers was pulled over after coming from a street race and there cars got towed for having it lowered and mods to the engine.Ive never saw or heard that happen here

paarman97maro 03-13-2006 07:47 PM

IT doesnt happen here.. cali is known for being *** pirates about that stuff.

Adric 03-13-2006 07:49 PM

The police in Minneapolis are more about tint and a front plate being visible. Cops come through this car metting place a few times and can blatantly see all the mods on the cars. I do want them to club the dumasses with lambo doors on their trucks.
