In an effort to bring some new faces to our series, HADA (Honda Acura Driver's Association) would like to extend a $5 discount to all GTCars members for Sunday, August 13th’s Castrol Take it off the Streets HADA autocross series – with title sponsors: Downtown Acura and Discovery Auto Collision.

Just print out the first page of this thread and bring it with you to the event to claim your discount.

I went Autocrossing last year, joined up with MSOC's PITL AutoX.
I highly recommend it to anyone here.
I'd love to attend this, but my car blew the tranny and Ive yet to find a proper car to buy.
I miss those Supercharged and Turbd Miatas eating everyone there.

Id doubt anyone else here beside me is remotely intrested in AutoX.
When a Forum has a Street Racing section, you know what kind of people visit it.
I'am making preparations to come, but its still not a 100%.

That's sad. It's safe, legal and actually makes you learn the limits of your car and driving ability in a controled environment. My car control skills have prevented an accident on more than one occassion. Plus, it's cheaper than losing your license.

Your absolutely right about that.
I know after AutoX, I became a much better driver, and not only that, but after AutoX, I just didnt have the need to speed on public roads anymore. For that one saturday, I sped all I wanted in a safe environment, I got rid of that speed addiction in a legal place, rather than speedin on the road.

BTW- Sry to say, but I wont be making it out, I'll be looking at a Subaru Legacy Rally car for sale and another car that Iam intrested in this weekend.
I had hoped that Id finally get to attend a HADA event, Ive heard nothing but good things about you guys. Hopefully the next one.

Thanks for the good words. Hope to see some people out to watch at least. It's $25 to compete all day with this coupon, but free to watch. Formula Kartways is bringing out some shifter carts for display. They'll be renting them out for use at Mosport this year.
