Looks awesome, best part is knowing you'll never see anyone else with the same thing.

meissen 04-09-2006 06:14 PM

Hopefully not atleast, haha. I had quite a few people yesterday at both the car show and the late night Woodward cruising both asking me how I did it because they wanted to do the same thing. Each time, I said "No, you can do it differently, but don't do the same thing." It was actually quite fun driving to and from the car show yesterday, 2.5 hours away... my interior still stinks of paint fumes because the dash pad was only installed Friday afternoon fresh out of my "paint booth" in the basement.

Sanded down and used a LOT of primer. :)

That is an insane amount of labor i bet. Nice job, pat yourself on the back for a job well done. How is the glare from the dash???

meissen 04-09-2006 09:59 PM

glare surprisingly isn't bad at all, the dash pad is flat black and that's where most of the glare is normally created, when I had the flames painted on the dash pad and had it clear coated, the glare was horrid... now with the flat black, there's really not much of any.
