Gay. I hope Vin Diesel comes back, but the plot right now is stupid. It just looks like NFS carbon comes to the big screen :thumbsdow

Midnight Racer 08-24-2007 01:37 PM

I wonder when its release date is

rabbitman 08-24-2007 02:30 PM

Say what you want about this series, bad acting, bad race sequences, just bad plot, cheesy, etc, etc, etc...., HOWEVER, how many here will go see it? I know I will. I like bad action movies, especially with cool cars, hot chicks, and bad acting. :smilie_da

lol I know i'll go see it too. the first one is one of my favorite movies. the 2nd one is alright, but the 3rd one was great. i'm just dissapointed with this one's plot. instead of drifting again (esp. american vs japanese :retard: ) i expected something else. maybe in europe or something

chivs 08-24-2007 05:23 PM

finally some muscle in this series. Its about time they added the mustang and domestics to the long line up of imports.

The 2nd one had a Cuda, Camaro, a pile of Dodge Ram trucks, Viper, etc, etc. The 3rd one, based in Japan, had a 69 Mustang, Viper, Monte Carlo, and a few others. The first one was basically the only one that had almost no domestics. Other than the Ford Lightning. And the new Charger, is not a muscle car. It's a grocery getter, with a 350. Just like the 80's Gutlass's, Regals, monte's, and Grand Prix's. Well, actually, I guess those had 305's, unless you got into the HO motors, which were 307's. Anyway, back on topic, how much do you really see a domestic car, other than a few J body's, at local meets? Only ones we've got is a few Cavi's, a Saturn, a couple sunfires, and an LT1 Firebird.

The Drift craze, is what is big now, so that's what the basis of the movie is. I'd love to see an autocross, or lapping, or anything other than that, but lets face it, more people will go see the drifting, than will go to see anything else. I wish they would do one in Europe, and have some other cars other than what we're used to seeing, but again, it's what the car companies will pay to have in the movie.

Ya but those were all stand-still's, They did nothing except look good. The only domestics that actaully showedd they had a motor were the dodge rams, and what did they do?? Lay down a couple pylons and drive 5 feet. LoL

Don't forget the charger in the first one; it was just badass.

Did you even watch the second one? Remember the highway race, the pylone race between the Cuda, Yenko, Eclipse, and Evo? Then the Camaro, and Cuda were the primary cars. There was also a mustang that got run over by a transport truck and there were like 15 Dodge Rams that drove over all the cop cars.

Ok ya, your right. I completly forgot about the race with the evo and eclipse, but your over looking the point that this time there are going to be some domestics actaully racing/staring in the movie. Never in the history of fast and the Furious has a domestic taken a spot light. They always just sit around and get run over :smilie_d0

Well, I'm sure Nissan, or Honda will step in and prevent that from happening. Ford obviously took an interest in Tokyo Drift, since the Mustang won in the end.:smilie_da

It was a 67 Mustang in part3 and there was no Cuda in any of them. It was 70 Dodge Challenger. New Charger "a grocery getter" ? Since when was a 425HP RWD car on 20's a grocery getter?:retard:

It's a 4 door family car, just like any other 4 door. Slight exception maybe for the BMW M5. On 20's. LMAO, 20's are gay. Anything bigger than 18's is overkill. 425 hp, and a 5000 lb curb weight. :smilie_d0

Found this on .

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Sources close to the production of the three films in The Fast & The Furious series have told Inside Line that a fourth installment is on its way. The best guess is that it will show up in theaters worldwide during the summer of 2008.

The project is currently classified merely as "in development" at Universal, with no clear production start date and no announced director. However, it's rumored that the next film will reunite many characters and actors from the first three including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Lucas Black. Obviously the story will once again center around automotive mayhem of the most intense sort, but the rumor is that this time most of the action will be set in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

As to the cars, expectations are that some familiar machinery — like a resurrected version of the blown 1970 Dodge Charger from the original film — will mix it up with such contemporary machinery as the new Dodge Challenger and classic South American muscle like the Chevrolet Opala. Also don't be surprised if Vin Diesel's character finds his way behind the wheel of a classic 1987 Buick GNX.
Original LInk

If this is indeed the plot. I'd line up to see the first showing. SICK :smilie_da
