Maptech custom faceplate, pics
3 Attachment(s)
Finally installed Sony headunit (5000 series with blu-tooth) and a custom HU mount from maptech (LED backlit). I had the faceplate polished and then chromed with my build number laser cut on the plate (Trans Am WS6 #1073). Blu-tooth from my cell works really well streaming music to the Sony headunit. Music sounded great over blu-tooth stream and the setup is super clean. I just get in the car, phone pairs in about 10 seconds, select song and enjoy wireless streaming music. Sorry the pics are not better, but using my cell phone (only a 2 megapix).

nice. howd you find out your build number? i never knew anything aobut my WS6 other than it was a real WS6 when looking at the RPO codes.lol. any my understanding is that SLP didnt make the cars. nobody really knows anything abuot them...lol
|
Just call SLP and give them your vin# and they can cross reference the build # for you. SLP did mine about 7 years ago, maybe they don't do it anymore.
