Me and my bro's car!

So I was at home chillin, and I told my bro if he wanted to go take pics and he said sure! So off we go to take some pics. It was almost 8pm and my bro had to go to work at 9pm, so we only took them at one spot. We are gonna take some more at other spots later on when we both got time. BTW, he has an 03 Cavalier. Keep in mind guys, it's still a Chevy. =p Here you go!

That's it! For now at least, lol. Anywho, this area is like a few blocks from where I grew up at. It was nice revisiting it. Haven't been around there in months. Hope you like the pics!! =p

cool. kinda different background. i like it tho. sweet looking Z.

blue89vert 07-17-2006 01:26 AM

awesome car! i like the ones with the graffiti in the background. what kinda mods are you plannin on?

Mike Jones 07-17-2006 01:29 AM

Do you ever get embarrassed(sp) when your brother just kills you on the street with his mad Cavy?!

Mike Jones 07-17-2006 01:29 AM

BTW did you get the GMMG yet?

squirrelishere 07-17-2006 01:35 AM

Thanks for the compliments!

As for mods, I think for this year, not too much. Mainly bolt-ons I think. In the next week or so, I'll be putting on Pacesetter headers, y-pipe, cutout, and catback. That might do it for me. Cam/heads/etc will come on next year after the winter season.

And Chad, I did get the GMMG exhaust. Well, not literally. I went to talk to the guy today, and he showed it to me and all. He scheduled the shop to take it off on Wednesday, and I believe on Friday I will pick it up. I will go pass the friggin emissions, and then the NIFBA group is gonna have a mod meet to have my complete exhaust installed. So maybe 2 weeks and I will have a full exhaust done and audio clips!!

And my bro only beats me in the rain/snow. =p

Sounds good.

When and where is the mod meet?

squirrelishere 07-17-2006 01:56 AM

The meet is TBA. First I gotta pass emissions. Then I have to ask them when everyone is free and who's house it is going to be at. It might be at Jim(Jpack) place since I think his buddy is gonna do the welding for me. Wanna join in? =p We'll get tons more pics then! I know I'll be doing some videos with the new system!

Oh yeah I want in. I check the board almost everyday but since I can't make it to most of the meets I don't read everything very closely. If you wouldn't mind posting something here when the time and place or final I'd really appreciate it.

squirrelishere 07-17-2006 02:06 AM

No problem. I'll post it up on z28.com, NIFBA, and on here. Plus of course there will be a follow-up thread with results. I'll keep ya posted.

paarman97maro 07-17-2006 02:08 AM

decent pics... except for the dates in the corner.

squirrelishere 07-17-2006 02:09 AM

Yeah, keep forgetting to take it off again. My family uses the camera also, so they want the dates on there. =\

paarman97maro 07-17-2006 02:11 AM

it just bugs me cause it takes away from the pics. Its all I can concentrate on.

squirrelishere 07-17-2006 02:13 AM

Put your hand over the dates and you're all good! =p

Sinister95Z 07-17-2006 03:59 AM

I like your car, but the background really ruins the pics. It distracts the attention away from a very bad *** ride. IMO.

2000v6cam 07-17-2006 04:28 AM

good pics and i think the background is kinda cool i didnt even notice the dates till justin said something lol but all in all good pics

i kinda agree with you... some of the pics are too busy in the bg.

squirrelishere 07-17-2006 12:34 PM

Next time I shall do a variety. I'm getting more into picture taking, plus I have a tripod now, so much more pictures will be available. At the NIFBA site, they're already asking if I take enough pics. =p

Jpack 07-17-2006 02:49 PM

Uli, you take a crap load of pictures lol.

As for mod day, I think we should do it at my buddies garage. Everything is there, compressor, 2 walls full tool, welders etc. We did Scotts suspension there and worked out fine. He is near Harlem and Grand area. Only thing he doesn't have is the lift. Once I get the new car in the garage, I'm gonna pop for one. I will use my back bay for the lift and store the cars 1 up and 1 down. That way the other rides can fit inside too. (for those that don't know I have a 46 ft deep garage with 12ft ceilings and 8'6" garage door.)

Chad, if you wanna head out and it is on a good date for ya, let me know. You have to see my friends truck. It is a monster garage truck. 1982 toyota painted Viper yellow, 36" mudders, custom interior lol, and the powerplant is a Small block chevy in it. Thing will climb walls.... scarry fast and this thing has so much torque he broke the yoke, not a u joint, twisted the yoke and split it open and shot the drive shaft down the block. WHOA!!!!!

any pics ?

squirrelishere 07-17-2006 04:55 PM

Harlem and Grand? OMG, are we actually gonna have a gtg by MY house for a change? =p That's sweet, it's like 20 mins away, yay! After Friday I'll post up to see what time and when people wanna do it.

Mike Jones 07-17-2006 05:09 PM

What city is that?

squirrelishere 07-17-2006 05:15 PM

Harlem and Grand is Elmwood Park. My cousin worked at Circuit City at Harlem and Grand, that's why I know. =p

Mike Jones 07-17-2006 05:25 PM

Thanks, so it's just over an hour drive for me. I'd be completely up for that!

woody80z28 07-17-2006 10:48 PM

I like the LS1... but I bet my Z26 could eat the Cavy.

MeenZ28 07-18-2006 01:26 AM

True, it might be a chevy - but cavis are gay. Unless you're renting one from enterprise while your "real" car is being worked on I wouldnt be caught in one of those things.

camaro94 07-18-2006 08:02 PM

car looks good.

FORCE_FED_Z 07-18-2006 10:05 PM

The only thing a Cavalier is good for is is appreciating your regular car more like Grant said.

Sorry, but I have seen more than one Cav have a host of problems that did nothing but eat holes in wallets..

But nevertheless, the Camaro looks good..get some rims and you will have a really nice looking ride there!
