I've used the big brutes and the spicers. Both hold up ok.... about every 2 years I change them when they get noisy.

mclaren55, I'm still going to take the car to the States for the American Supercar races. (Vettes vs Vipers) and the Buick GSCA meet in Bowling Green, Ky.
American Supercar Challenge
Race records (The little V6 still holds a record)
GSCA Nationals (Buicks)

yeah i'm not too happy with the spircers... I just replaces them and i think the cap cracked again on one side
Did you get them locally or from the US?

Got them from Fred over at Dynamic. Didn't find much difference between the two.

l_bilyk 04-01-2005 09:24 AM

what did they run you? Did you get the OE spicers or the cold-forged versions?

I have the cold forged on the car now.... got them from a friend, but it's too early to tell if they are good.

Thanks for the compliment.

well, in the future if u ever decide to switch your exhaust think about the spoon axle back...from the header back to the axle you could always go custom.

also, have u thought about getting spoon replica mirrors? they would go well with your overall look?

oh yea, it's better you have slips. SW388's are a waste of money!
