They are very quick. Especially if they are tweaked. Cams, P and P, can make that car easily take out SIR's, etc. And with 4 people in it.

never said i was king bro. if i wanted to really spank some street racers, i'd drop a vr6 into her with a g60 charger.

LHD Part was there cuz I copied my specs from where my car is shown on a Japanese VW website.

lmk when ur ready to put ur car up against mine (hopefully I should be done by spring) then we can talk about my car's performance! don't forget, my car is red, thats like 20 HP right there, plus a kenwood cd deck so thats like another 15hp.

For now, I haven't even brought this one out to the track to see what she can do yet.

haven't had it dynoed yet, still bringing all the power i can out of the engine. New sachs performance clutch kit goes on in 2 weeks, then a lightened flywheel. it's got high KM's on here, so I'm not expecting 10s track times or anything! I'm realistic about my ride.


its a nice feeling to know the kid in the Hyundai (no offence to hyundai owners, these just seem to be the folks that try to prove something to me when i'm at the lights), is gonna get spanked by my little old jetta! I have nothing to prove, but i don't mind showin them my tail lights!

with all the mods i believe, ( and this is a general guesstimate) that she is doing about 140hp. will know better once she is properly tuned. I've only owned this car for almost 2 yrs now, so i have lots more work to do.

u'll never have enough for me.

a Vr6 and a G60...right.
G60 superchargers dont flow nearly enough for a VR6

hell at 5 psi they only make 160 hp on a 1.8L

so at 2.8L it'll just choke the of of the engine.

and even a VR6 mk2 unless heavilly modded wont touch me...

i'm not trying to put you down.....but u're saying that this AMAZING 16V GTX engine is the ...

we had a guy on here with modded 16V GTI and he only ran a 15.7

gear down there big rig. I never said my car was the . in fact if you read my posts, you'll see i have a pretty good idea my car isn't the fastest. did I say I was spankin audi tt's or vette's?

I can be proud of my car. I have a 16v engine, a lot of vw owners don't. so mine is a cut above most mk2 Jetta's, plus my mods equals one fast little car, not THE FASTEST, but good enough until i choose to go to something more powerful.
