Dont ask about the firebird in the backround, my dad bought that a few years ago and the engine blew so its been sitting, Its a 79 formula has a custom hood and a really worked up chevy 350 in it, i want to fix it up but i dont have much time

Nope The whole car is origional, nothing at all has been changed, The paint looks pretty new now, i stripped the old wax and threw on a coat of zmoil then toped it off with some meguiers polish and it shines like new

No not right now ill snap a picture tomarrow, it is by no means clean there is pollen all over it but maybe the rain tonight cleared it up a lil, its a sweet car i want to fiix it up bad. I never seen the hood thats on it anywhere else the last onwer said he paid $1,400 for the hood from somewhere in philly

that was the factory style hood, but the birds are a pain to put on and rarely look good (may be a selling point if it's not all cracked)and when you get it on ebay put up the link I'll post it over at nastyz28 and send it to a few friends (hope for a bidding war maybe)

O i thought you where taking about that formula in the backround, hmm i dont think i have any pictures of the trans am hood close up, the actual decal isnt cracked at all from what i see maybe a lil in the top middle like where the head is, but other than that i dont think. the whole thing is pretty faded though

I think im going to put it on ebay starting at 3,000 no reserve, i put close to a thousand into it to get it to run good again, and it was a major pain in the *** gettin the valves set right

Describe the hood on the Formula - or better yet, do take a pic, I'd love to see some shots of it.

My IROC,and my Husband has a '69 GTO,and he just picked up a '69 Charger,both need to be restored.He also has a 1940's John Deer tractor that was originally bought by his Grandpa.He wants to restore that aswell :D

sounds a lot like this household. Right now he's broke so that means no more cars for a while. He'll just have to stick to the 79 TA and the 84 Chevy tuck for a while, lol. I'm broke so that means no 79 Camaro/85 TA for me right now.

This is nothing compared to what I grew up around,lol.
There is always time for more cars when the money is there.you'll get your other cars in time I'm sure :D
