Yeah but I bet she would kill to own a TA of the same year.

archemedes 05-11-2005 09:49 PM

I'd actually prefer it if it was the ss of course I could live with the little motor (that year z/28 had a 350 the ss had the optional 396 big block)

MeenZ28 05-11-2005 10:01 PM

Love the emblems!

Not really a fan of the big block unless it is a stright line runner. if I could I would like to use a 400 small block and go with fuel injection.

97z2801ss 05-11-2005 10:46 PM

Id prefer that car over a same year T/a

I love the early Camaro, mainly 67-69. I love all Camaros, just excluding the years of approx. 70-75. Especially like 70-73, I can't stand those. Least favorite years of the Camaro. Only year Firebird I don't like is the '69.

427 is gay for a BBC, i got 412 and its a small block. You better get like 496 atleast.

427 will out rev your engine and have more bottom end (and I hate teh sb 400)

so my .75L gsx-r will outrev your 427 :nana: still revs mean nothing if they dont translate into performance :nana: (and the sb 400 hates you :nana: )

FamousZ 05-12-2005 08:29 AM

the larger engine with higher revs means more usable power band

Not really, usuable power band has more to do with gear ratio and the amount of gears. You can easily have a very streetable engine with a 6k plus powerband long as your gears permit it.

if you make power in a longer power band (which teh smaller big blocks do that the larger small blocks don't) then you have more powerband

Mikerock 05-12-2005 02:41 PM

i like rubberbands.

97z2801ss 05-12-2005 03:28 PM
