Odd G-body build

This is an interesting car, here are some quotes from the owner,
"
I have an 81 Oldsmobile Cutlass that I am converting to a G/N. It would have a big block with 4L80E behind it
The rear end would be a shortened ford 9" with a 4 link suspension made by Morrison. The rear tires would be 31X18X20 by Mickey Thompson, the wheels would have to be custom made."

This car started out as a Diesel Cutlass, this guy was on the Buick forums looking for a Turbo hood and fenders, he ended up with a regal rear clip and built a very odd GNX clone...
Check out the ENGINE!!!! who can guess what it is....

R/T kota 04-10-2007 10:27 PM

different thats for sure.
Did a nice job making a buick GNX from a cutlass.
He forgot the fender vents though.
Should have made the dash I.D #548 instead of 018.

Definately a cool idea, the car started out as a diesel (6.2) gutless,
he used the duramax to be California emission exempt... great idea IMO

there is also a lot of power to be made with that engine....

550hp with 1000 trq...lol

HEMI R/T 04-13-2007 11:03 PM
