yeah thats what the C6 Z06 does... people claim roughly mid-11's, but trapping at much faster than 120 so the cars aren't hooking up

doesn't the MB ac disengage under hard acceleration?

Yea, I'm pretty sure it does disengage most if not all cars do... it's just what he said in the article... found that sorta funny.

Also, the was racing with traction control on so it was basically go up to the line, wait for the green and drop the hammer and hold on.

They tried a few runs without traction control, and his comment was: "Trying to launch the SL65 with the traction control off is like trying to drive a unicycle up a ski slope" :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I really like the C6 Z06 but I would take the SL65 over all those cars though, even if the corvette is faster. I dont mind giving up a bit of speed for some comfort/luxury and a hardtop convertible. Plus the SL65 is still faster than 99% of the cars on the road... but the C6 Z06 is a close 2nd, that thing in mean!

They have gone a bit quicker than that... some guy ran a 11.4, but not many people take these cars to the track...
What do the LS7 vettes run? and what do they trap?

people claim mid-low 11's with high 120's at the trap
although I dont think the general public has acess to the just yet
