Man, some of tho's cars are MANGLED...

Reminds me of how very lucky I was to walk away...

Cerberus 05-03-2005 02:12 PM

^How's that? BTW, your sig is an "X"

Low-Low 05-03-2005 02:21 PM

How could any of us ever know if they were speeding? All of those could have very easily been the result of someone swerving to avoid something.

mdv_paseo 05-03-2005 02:35 PM

I dont think this one is even real.... like that car is just tooo mangled, its actually wrapped around the tree. It looks like it was done on purpose by an 'artist' or something.

Yea I know about my sig.. it's because I host my own through a web server on XP... but i'm using linux at the moment and haven't gotten to that part yet :D

As for the accident part... well, I've been in 3 nearly fatal accidents and have walked away with usually nothing more then a few bruises and cuts. 2 out of the 3 involved very high speeds and roll-overs (3-4 times each time)...

Agreed, a car would never just "wrap" around something like a tree or pole like that. it's just not possible.

but i'm sure as hell it's scared a lot of people into driving slower down that road :p

damn !

drift_n_shift 05-03-2005 06:21 PM

i believe its the 911 Carrera or Turbo. The turbo has a top speed of 290km/h and acceleration times of 0-96km/h in 4.3 seconds. It has a 3.6 litre flat six that produces 408bhp with the help of two KKK superchargers. It also has AWD, 6SPD Manual, unitary chassis, independant front and rear suspension, and massive hydraulic disc, ABS brakes.

-did a presentation on porsches once... some feel free to add something or correct me.

-BTW, dam, those are insane pics. My respects to the peoples families.....

ricernoob 05-03-2005 10:22 PM

^^^and you're talking specifically of the 993, right?
