Look carefully at the cop car at the top right. Can we say 1984 Rabbit? Well o.k. 1984 Golf MK1. Just so you know it not an old pic, look at the car at the top left. New focus cop car. BTW I didn't doctor it.

you do realize they have only one and its for parade and ?

I think some of Japan's provincial police have the best, they actually get to use GTR/RX7/NSX as real cruisers, not just parade wowzers, and Texas Troopers, they got neat little cruisers like Vettes, Rustangs, Camaros.

It could be South africa... they still make mk1 golfs there, with upgraded interiors and a bunch of other stuff. It's called the Citi Golf.
You can buy a 2005 mk1.

Yeah I knew they still made them. I'd give my left arm, well maybe not, to get one over here. My MK1 had 91000 km on it when I sold it last month. I miss it already.

To date, Ive seen a few unmarked R34 GTRs on the high-way. Luckily I have a very sophisticated radar detector.

Yeah those citi Golfs are nice. If only they made the MK2s with that interior. Who needs to swap in an MK3 interior when you get that. Just drop 1.8t in it n ur golden

Please tell me you're joking. 1.8t in a rabbit? Why bother with that complicated a swap when a 2l 16v with turbo fits in so easily. And will kill any 1.8t.

Tomek6 09-20-2005 08:07 PM

In an MK2. Not a rabbit. But hey if you say so I dunno anything about VW. But I have seen some nice MK2's with 1.8Ts and they were in fast.

Well because of Europe not being a Single country that image does'nt reflect so much.
Here in Sweden for example the police drives everything from Volvo, Saab, BMW Jeep and Mercedes and several more. New of course. In the 70's the police actually had afford with a few Porsches to chase the speeders =D

In Germany the Police drives their BMW and Mercedes. But if you go to eastern Europe you will probably find the police driving around in Ladas and such.

About the Lamborghini Murcielago, the Italian police uses it for fast transports of Hearttransplantations and as a parade car. It was a gift from the Lamborghini to the Italian Police.
