Took my bumper off this weekend. DIY job. came out alright, way better than what it was before.
Found a huge dent in the lower reinforcement  Could have bought it like that. https://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a9...i/100_2551.jpg Attachment 166804 Also took some other pics Attachment 166805 Attachment 166806 Attachment 166807 |
what kind of paint did you use? and how did you prep the bumper
|
Not too shabby, did you wet sand or anything or just do a couple coats after prep.
|
nice, not bad at all:thumbsup:

Clear coat spray also from CT. 2 cans I prepped the bumper with 220 getting down the shine, leveling out chips, scratches, roughness. thoroughly cleaned and primed it wetsanded primer with a thousand grit thoroughly cleaned and gave it three coats of color clearcoated it about five to six coats then wetsanded the roughness and dry texture with two thousand grit till semi dull and uniform smooth buffed it out hard by hand and waxed it a professional bodyworker told me i must get it buffed by mahcine because it heats up the clear and brings up the shinr unlike doing it by hand |
looks good man, honda bumpers have a naturally greasyness to them and are hard to paint, good stuff
