Spring Photoshoot

Heres a photoshoot Adric and I did a couple weeks back.. Im lazy, so I never got around to resizing and uploading, but anyway, here they are. Theres a ton more, I may upload some more later, but these were just some that I liked and wanted to post. We got some good locations in La Crosse.. Just what I was looking for:

I took many pics also, but these are all by Adric. Its like comparing a civic to a corvette (camera wise)

Adric 04-26-2006 02:10 AM

why do they all look streched vertically to me? Anyway hopefully this summer we can get a proper photoshoot and not a gay cliche one like on a parking ramp haha. Also, the lighting was ****** that day comapred to the one we did last summer. I do really like the brick building ones. Nexttime I should submit the picts and crop them out so crap isnt ruining the photos like in some of the above.

nice! I'm really looking forward to going out with my car to take some pics this year. I didn't have the digital Rebel (or my film Rebel) when I took pictures of it before..

Those turned out pretty Sweet Justin,........

I think you had some great backgrounds to pose in front of, and aside from the two dark ones.....the rest of them kick A$$. :D

Nice shots bro! Very professional looking. I have a photoshoot with EPic plaaned some day soon as soon as i get her tuned up and some engine details worked out. Too bad i dont have cool back drops like that to work with.

I know! I was thinking the same thing. I've been racking my brain :banghead: trying to think of some place cool I could take some pics when I get the SS hood on it.

Cause you took many of them vertically ;)

I think the ones on the parking ramp look good... those are just a few of the like 50 we got lol... But they look nice with the backdrops we had.

You should have submitted them... submit more if you want, I just put some up that I liked.

I like it, but theres a lot of other crap distracting your eyes from the pic.. It would be a good spot, but there was crappy construction stuff, and other cars around... We just stopped there briefly to get one in the middle of a street :D We got some around there about a year ago in the winter time.. It would be a lot better in the spring/summer.

As for locations, I just had a couple in mind, but we basically drove around looking for cool places... A lot of the riverside of la crosse is old abandoned or run down buildings, so it wasnt too hard to find some good spots.

looks sweet man

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask you about your front plate. Did you cut it to that size, or is it just wrapped around your airdam?

There's a guy here who has a White one similar to mine, and he ended up cutting the plate almost that same size, then sticking between the foglights where the red bowtie is. I would have thought that to be illegal, but he's had it like that for over a year now.

I have mine attached to the bottom side of the passenger sunvisor, so if I see a cop.....I flip the visor down and it's visible from the front of the car.

The law states: "The most forward point of the vehicle".. or somthing along those lines. I put it there because I didnt have my front plate on for a long time, then some cop had to hassle me and tell me to put one on by a verbal warning... So I put it on the airdam (its just bent back, mostly from scraping lol)

I plan on getting personalized plates around June, so Ill put it back on the front then... I just think it looks way better without a plate there.

I couldn't agree with you more, especially since I have the billet grill. I guess I'm just curious about what I was referring to with the guy who cut his plate down and mounted it in the stock location.

Try to imagine the front of your car with your plate the same size it looks on the airdam, and having it mounted just in the black area between the foglights. That's what his looks like, and it's been that way for over a year.

But wouldn't you think that cutting up a front plate would be illegal? I mean you don't have to have tabs on them, so why would you need anything other than the numbers & letters? hhmmmmm.........The law sucks!

Hm... I know here you only need tabs on the rear lisence plate... I remember hearing somewhere that as long as the 6 (or however many) number/letter code is showing, its not a problem... although Im sure its looked down upon. Maybe he had it on the airdam and got pulled over and told to put it where its supposed to be.
