The Ultimate-Hack-Jobs Thread
We've seen the results of lots of nice work in this forum, but now it's time for the opposite! Post up the worst stuff you've ever seen on the internet car forums! Don't post names though... that would be mean. We can make this an educational experience, learning from others mistakes. :smokin:
The following comes from some random guy on another forum that I visit (guess which one). Enjoy... This pic is of the wideband o2 bung right after the narrowband o2 sensor. https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010009-1.jpg Festiva stock o2 sensor w/welded bung. https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010008-1.jpg Drivers side IC piping coming up where the battery should be. https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010007-1.jpg https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010006-1.jpg https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010005-1.jpg Wastegate + dump tube. https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010004-2.jpg https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010003-2.jpg Hot side IC pipe. It was tough to make that bend but somehow I pulled it off. https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010002-2.jpg Shows the modded srt4 IC, I welded larger endtanks and had the inlet and outlet come straight out the side. https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/...S2010001-2.jpg Let me know what you think, I have an appointment at our local dyno next Wednesday at 3pm. Figured that would give me a full day to tune on 12psi and pump 93 octane, 15psi on 110 octane, 22-24psi on C16 race gas. I would be satisfied with a 3XXhp and 270+ ft/lbs. Yes that's right, this is supposed to be a daily driven car and there's a turbo where the headlight usually goes. My face hurt after seeing these pictures. |
is that on a 323?
