Washed for the first time since paint

Been two weeks, first time I decided to wash the car since the parts were painted (even though she didnt need it at all, was still clean as can be) anyway, here's some pics (I made sure to get plenty from the back since a lot of people commented that all my previous pics were from the front)

Car looks amazing, it's so nice to own a car that will never get mixed up in the parking lot.

Looks good

Yeah... it's really funny how much a new hood and spoiler (after being painted to match) changes the entire attitude of not only the car, but the driver too. Not to sound conceited, but I've been getting so many compliments on the car when I'm driving around town and such. True story, last week I was driving to work after lunch and it was a 5 lane street (two for each way, with a middle turn lane). I was in the right lane so I could turn right, but the green arrow was on for the center lanes to turn. So I'm waiting for the people turning to finish so I could make my right, and I look over and this guy in the left lane was so busy staring at my car, he didn't even go when the light turned green, and I actually pointed at the light and yelled "Hey, it's green!" and it turned red by the time he looked at the light. I also have been "cruising" more lately, instead of speeding all over town, I just take my time and cruise as if I'm in an actual cruise. :)

Well put, I miss that from my '94 but I'll be there soon enough with my LS1. As soon as I get the hood on I can then go back to performance so my car will not only look good but blow the doors off other street cars.

I much prefer a little cosmetic and let the motor do the rest of the talkin...

Car looks good though-

Looks good.

Did you darken the tint on your rear lights?

meissen 09-03-2005 08:10 PM

Nada, I want to redo them at some point so they arent so dark, but I haven't touched them lately.

camaro94 09-04-2005 12:07 AM

i like them that dark.

meissen 09-04-2005 01:29 AM

I would normally agree, but the driver side is darker than the passenger, so in this case I have to redo them, and I want to make them just slightly lighter so that you can still see through the lense without the lights lit up.

For the stripes, the set on the trunk ends just under the stock spoiler
