BMW 1 series......Will we get it?
 

I found on the BMW USA site that the 1 series will be available in spring. No word of it at all on the situation in Canada. Does anyone have info on 1 series being avalable at Canadian dealerships?

The 135s look VERY promissing. The 335s with exhaust and chip can do high 12s. These mods apparently bump it to 340Hp, this number must be at the wheels cause it still weighs well into 3000 lbs. The fact that the 1 series is smaller and lighter AND CHEAPER makes it a very promissing buy. I hope to hell we see them here cause I'm in.

it looks alright, but i wouldn't buy one....i'd rather get a E90

Much too over priced. Better to get a 3-series.

For the nay sayers...they are really for a different purpose. The 1 series cars have a shorter wheel base and about 200lbs lighter, but same engines from the e90 platform. They will be a blast to drive on the track.

overall good car, hard to find parts, and they ain't cheap

135 starts at $41700 CAD. Much better than I had thought, mind you this is the bare bones.
