You can try a number of the Toronto bimmer boards like tuningemotion.com or maxbimmer.com.

don't buy a 323i, one of the worst bmw's, it was a failure vehicle, get a 325i or 328i

You'll want to check the basics like the condition of the suspension. Check when the front control arms were replaced last, the bushings and ball joints don't last very long (mine went at 100k went with aftermarket Meyle heavy duty rubber bushings and replaceable ball joints). I have a 323ci, the rear subframe has major issues, you'll want to have that inspected. Best site to go to for E46's is www.e46fanatics.com. If the subframe is cracked BMW canada will repair it, you have 10 years from time of purchase to do this. i have a 323ci (coupe) i love it. yeah maintenance is a bit expensive but that's what you're getting when you purchase a higher end car. BTW if you go online for parts you'll save 20 - 50% off what the dealer charges. So when people complain about parts pricing go online you'll find good deals.

e46's are sick cars but have plenty of problems especially in that km range. like ^^ said e46fanatics.com is a really helpful site and fun OT section. major issues to be aware of is subframe dmg. it is common among e46s and can hurt your wallet. make sure it does not have a subframe issue and if it does do not sit on it because if it fails its game over lol. other then that it is basic car maintenance (yet more expensive) lol enjoy your bimmer :)

You first look on the Engine. If is is overhauled or not. If overhauled then how many new parts have been added. Check the coding system whether is it quickly load and start or not. Check the interior decoration and look, fuel consumption and the lighting system work well or not. I think if you satisfy with above may buy any car.
