OK i'm sure u guys know all this already but here goes To replace front rope seal on a 55 u need C/R #19785 or National seal # 450446 and 4 the rear useeither victor/Felpro #jv730p or national #5068 .Futher info on this can be found on V8 Buick forum board .Idid the front seal on my 55 and it wasn't bad 2 do .Had to get rid of the stake marks in timing cover & did a couple of clean up passes with die grinder, put some sealant around OD of seal & tapped it home . Hopefully it will be all good See u guys in 6 wks off on S/D later bake
