The 18" run 10000Max/5000RMS

You could run them at .5Ohm

So this guy could be running up to 40,000MAXWatts/ 20,000RMS.

But no lower than 10,000RMS

how much money do you think it would cost to run a system that's 40 000 max watts?

Very true.... but then we also look at the other end of the spectrum. Just because the sub is rated at a max of 10k (or whatever it is) ... doesn't mean he isn't putting more to it.

Subs can usually handle a hell of a lot more than their rated power for SPL burps.
