How do you have the subs wired?

i forgot to say its my amp that turns off so it has nothing to do with subs. im guessing its my power wire becauase its bearly screwed in because the 4 gauge wire bearly fits in it to hold down i dont know man..

It could still be your subs, if the impedance doesn't match the amps specs it will go into protection. It could several things but check that first.

lmao im using a kenwood 1800wat amp and 2 40$ 12" pyramid 1200watt subs that amp should be killing these subs.
whats independance?

Impedance is the woofers ohms reading, so if your amp will play 4 ohms stereo or 4 ohms bridged and you wired it 2 ohms than the amp will shut off to protect itself from blowing.

ya that's right, make and model don't mean anything, check your power and grounds always first, if you have those subs wired in parallel that's 2 ohms, bridged amp sees half of that, so i don't care if you have 1000000 watts, if the amp isn't meant to deal with 1 ohm, it will shut down
