amp fix help
so heres the story; i received a free amp over the weekend, a rockford fosgate punch model. i dont know the model number but its 400 watts rms. the reason it was free was because it doesnt work, but i was told its fixable. does anyone on here fix or know of any shop that fixes amps?
it was sent in to the manufacturer before and fixed but it broke again, if that helps. :smilie_da |

what's going on bro
For the amp, check the fuse first. If it's fine, then open it and see if anything came loose. If anything did, I can try and fix it for you... |
aite ill open the bish up, ill let you know whats good

ahhh i had that amp 2 summers ago
sounds wonderful when fonctioning |
o btw that amp pushes 250 rms tops i had one like that before, main problem with the p2002 is the main power IC and the resistors around it blow quite often when overpowering it and pushing it to the max. Its an easy fix if that the problem and most shops will charge a flat fee of like $50 parts and labour. but if you can solder precision then go downtown to h-electronics surplus on college and spadina and get the parts for under $10 for everything.
