Amp Installation

Ok I am installing an amp for my two 12" subs. I am really confused. Well for the amp you have to hook the 12V into your battery, but do you just connect to the positive side? The ground wire is easy but then there is this "to remote turn-on +12V". In the book it shows it connecting to my head unit, so on my head unit would I connect it to the Power Antenna(a blue/white wire). Because the only places left on my head unit to plug into are this Power Antenna and a Subwoofer. It says REM on the amp overtop of where this wire is supposed to plug into but I don't know what that stands for. It almost look like it says to use the +12V twice which isn't making any sense to me.
Last thing is that on the back of my Boss head unit there is two RCA line outs. One says FRONT and the other says REAR. I don't know which to use because I thought that there would just be one. All I want is my bass in my subs in my trunk. So which do I use? Thanks to anyone who will help me out!

ok positive on amp to positive on battery, ground to the chassis of the car with bare metal, deck should have a remote on it aka blue wire or u can use a switch on a 12v source to switch the amp on or off, also since u have no sub out just wire to the rear rcas.

Ok thank you very much. I will have to look for this blue wire. The only one that I know of is this Power Antenna wire(blue/white) but I guess thats not the one. I gotta figure out what that is for I guess. If I remember correctly there was a wire left out when I installed the head unit. So that must be it. My last question is that if I hook it up to the Rear RCAs will that cut off my rear speakers inside the car? My amp has the crossover or whatever you call it, so that will make it so that it just plays the bass right? I don't want anything but bass going through my subs in the trunk and then everything else(words/treble whatever)on my 4 speakers inside the car. Thanks for the help once again I definitely need it!

yep it will not cut off if your going to be hooking up the speakers directly to the deck and yes you can set it so the subs wont play over a certain freq.

the power antenna wire is if u have a power antenna, it will just turn the amp on when u have the antenna up and amp off when the antenna is down.

before i was amped for my speakers i had my deck running the speakers and my subs going from the rear
