bass blockers
hey guys, i was wondering if anyone here knows where i can get a pair of bass blockers for my 4x6 speakers. i went to the source yesterday but the guy had no idea what i was talking about. thanks in advance.

if you talking about blocking out the bass that comes from those speakers, you'll need a 10ohm capacitor on each speaker it connects to the negative polarity on them.

Of course he had no idea what you were talking about you went to Best Buy, lol. If you're looking to high pass (reduce the low bass going to) the 4x6's then some of 47,100, or 200 microfarad caps wired in series should do the trick. Or if there is a specific frequency you want to cross them over at there are formula's to figure out whats cap (or cap/coil if you want a 2nd order filter) you would need, I just got to look them up . Oh yeah, most electronic shops and car audio shops should have them.

thanks guys that exactly what i was looking for. Radio shack should have those capacitors right?
