burning smell from subs?
 

Hi guys, i just installed my subs in my car today. The sound is amazing its just like it was before but there is a burning smell coming from within the enclosure, im not sure what it might be. They were sitting in my basement for about a year, or can it be the way i installed it cause this is my first time. they are kicker subs dual 2 ohm with a 2 channel mtx amp. i just bridged each sub and hooked up the pos. and neg wires into the amp. i used this diagram:

If anyone can help that would be great, lol maybe you can help me save a couple bucks
