Car Stereo's (CD/MP3/RADIO) Question

I have a 1989 Mercedes-Benz, its pretty old the sound system, when I bought it one of the subs was blown, and I am working on fixing that problem. I am also looking at buying a new stereo for the car..one that has CD/MP3/and a place to connect my ipod, I've looked around..seen fair prices, but what is really out there in a price range of 150-300 bucks?

I am not looking for anything really fancy or super awesome because I am probably going to end up selling the car to my parents. Something that just isn't but I don't know much about Car Stereo's to tell the difference.

Prices of decks have really come down this year so you can get a really nice deck in that price range.

Recommend place to buy them? Best Buy?

Best buy isnt a bad idea for your run of the mill decks, but it doesn't hurt to compare prices to some specialized audio shops.
Are you planning to hook it up yourself? as most places, including best buy, offer an installation service with a fee. just keep that in mind.

2001 Audio Video.

Just bought a Pioneer DEH-3000 (i-pod wire seperate) for $144 tax incl.
They also have Alpine in that price range, good deck over all.
Specifically the one on Dufferin and Steeles.

However, I had an I-pod wire to my Alpine deck before, sound quality was horrible =S
