Cold Air Intakes

Cool, dense air=more power... Is the equation correct:confused:

msequence 09-11-2008 06:50 AM

in theory... by the time it hits the intake it will get warmer :)

lol

aha yea ^^

Don't expect too much HP gain from a CAI, mostly for the bling factor under the hood.

Fresh_Prince 10-14-2008 07:27 PM

pretty true...however most well designed kits give you better throttle response
and a throatier engine/exhaust note...worth it if you ask me

CAN'T SAY ANY THING :-(

bigbody300 12-23-2008 08:56 PM

yeah but you will get an increase in HP due the air intake sucking more air without resistance

i think its a waste of 300 dollars. i see so much people putting cai on there stock cars like civics. firstly i dont really like the noise. if u got some power adders i guess its worth it but stock motor its a waste if u ask me. instead of blowing ur 300 or so dollars on a intake save it and put it towards a turbo kit or something. atleast ull actually have power gains.

$50 for short ram intake
+
$30 for mini beer keg heat shield/good times
=
nice sound, cool looks, not much extra power. but it looks cool right? :)
