well iv finaly decided to put a sound system in my car. im don't have much knowledge when it comes to audio, but im looking for the 2 6x9's, the 2 front speakers(not sure what size, anyone know? im gunna try n do some research right now...) 2 subs to fit in the back 10 or 12inch and a box and amps. anyone know place's that make boxes for 3rd gens? im looking to spend upto say... 600-700bucks(canadian, so like 500-600us) anyone( prob arch) know a good set-up that would sound awesome for this price?

p.s. i may be willing to spend more pending on how big my cheque is when i get it tuesday. and hey arch you could probably get me all this stuff that i need, correct? thnx guys


EDIT: found out the front speakers are 4X6's

Find some buddies that DO know about systems to help. I have 6x9 Pioneer 4 ways in doors and in the back. two 10' JVL ins a QLogic Sub Bandpass box w/ a Kicker Impulse 2 channel amp. I Rule. Oh and a Pioneer cd player but im about to buy the clarion DVD player.

well , ive still got that ZR240 kicker amp that i wouldnt mind gettin rid of, ( just b/c i'd rather spend money on preformance), and then ive got a box, that fits 2 12inch subs for the back of a 3rd gen. But the carpet is tore a little in the corner on the bottom.( not like u can see the bottom of it ne ways b/c of how u put it in.... but yeha, the box is n great shape other than tht little tear thingi.

I can get everything, teh big issue is duty, it costs a fortune to ship to Canada, and that's after it gets there.

what colour is the carpet? i only want it if its red or black

hmm and iv known duty to be a pain... i guess ill figure something out and find out exactly what i want.. any idea on what duty/shipping would be like?
