I find Crutchfield a tad expensive, but they do have good product information, so if you want to read up on a component, just check em out. Buying on the other hand..... I'd go elsewhere.

crutchfield isn't expensive for being authorized if you find prices cheaper (and not a pc memeber discount) they are not authorized and you have no warranty and possibly refurb products or as the case of some stuff I was made aware of in an e-mail from a rep stolen product

I read that email. It stated that they wouldnt warranty anything that wasnt professionaly installed due to the fact it wouldnt be their fault. By having a professional install it they can say it was done right and it wasn't your fault. Saves them money that way.

no they said if not bought from their authorized dealer no matter who installs it's considered a refurbished item or stolen, and they don't authorize internet dealers (I asked about selling here only not as an online dealer and they threatened to cut off any supply I could get)

It's nice finally finding a forum with knowledgeable people, if I ever sound rude or mis-informed, just let me know, I love learning more! I have tons of questions and answers, hopefully this will be a mutual experience!
