Deck issue

hey i have an alpine cda 9811 and i recently found out
the screen is pretty slow mo for the first 10 mins...after the car is
back to normal temperature everything is fine

is this normal in aftermarket decks?

NOTORIOUS VR 12-16-2007 01:04 AM

that's normal for any LCD type of display... even OE decks.

Gonads 12-16-2007 07:20 AM

yeah i've heard of that too.

the same thing happens with cell phones in the cold weather. they have like a 2 sec delay if they are cold.

Fresh_Prince 12-16-2007 08:13 PM

weird...i just noticed on my deck...first system i had during winter

thanks

midnight_breeze 01-11-2008 03:10 PM

Fresh_Prince 01-12-2008 07:43 PM

LMAO!!! i got 23 rms x 4,4 volts pre amps ,high-low pass filter

my deck is nothing but

honda_boy_9090 01-21-2008 10:15 PM

most deck will be a little slow in the cold weather that is normal and as for your 4.4 volt preouts thats pretty good. my lcd display on my xm radio does the same thing its normal

voltar 01-22-2008 09:30 AM

Yah all LCDs have that problem, simple physics everything is slow at colder temperatures down to the electrons.

gtprince 01-28-2008 10:49 PM

ye... it takes time for them to heat up
