I have 2 JVL 10' in a sub QLogic Bandpass box and a 2 channel kicker impulse AMP. I hit harder than 12's..
Got enough tickets to prove my a$$ so I keep it down some...:lolsign:

Also, I wouldnt listen to that BullSh*t about bridging your AMP, you can overheat the amp..

Sure it puts more stress on your amp when you bridge it but if you have a good enough amp, it shouldnt make a difference.

Yup. I had a Memphis Class D amp (Crome cover) it was badass. but now all I have is a Two channel Kicker Impulse 678 Amp, Two JVL 10's in a QLogic sub Bandpass box, Along with the whole hatchback of the trunk, I hit enough to prove my a$$. man...i got so many tickets that I rarely crank the bass up, only on the freeway.

The only thing that sucks about bridging an amp is the power draw.

archemedes Feb 13, 2006 02:18 PM

what kills most amps when bridged is low voltage. Most 12 volt amps need to run at around 14 volts to be "happy" when you bridge it, your headlights dim that is drawing down to about 10 volts, and real hard on teh amp. Most of the beter amps underrate their ratings becasue they know people will do it anyway (soundstream told me they don't make an amp that won't do 1 ohm with a good charging system, so did powerbass)

mxracerbrian Feb 13, 2006 03:16 PM

yeah and the alternator!! without a decent cap, your alternator is under a lot of stress!!

archemedes Feb 13, 2006 05:21 PM

and a second battery does not help, it gives more key off run time only

blue89vert Feb 17, 2006 04:53 PM

RFF Feb 17, 2006 10:09 PM
