Fuse In Amp Keeps on blowing?

im having a problem with my amp, i am bridging to mono for 2 12" subs that i have, and the amp runs a 40A fuse. For some reason when i reach a higher volume level the fuse keeps on blowing.
anyone have any suggestions about this?
ive checked the wiring and it all seems fine to me.:dunno:

Check the impedence of the subs and then verify if your amp can play that low ;)

thanks your right. my amp is 2 Ohms Stereo / 4 Ohms Mono Stable

and when i hook up one sub the fuse still blows, and my subs Impedance is : 4 ohms

so what would be the best way to hook up the two subs?

Well, the bad news is that you don't have the proper sub configurations to wire that amp up and achieve it's maximum potential.

You could wire the subs in parallel, but that will bring the impedence to 2Ohms, which the amp wouldn't like. (mono connection)

Or you could wire them in series to get 8 Ohms.

Right now though, it sounds like the voicecoil config is the least of your worries. I'd bring the car in to a shop and ask them to check out the install. It sounds like there's something that isn't wired properly, which is why you're blowing fuses.

You just can't run the amp 2 ohms mono, either get a mono block or run it in 4 ohms stereo.
