Just a simple question...
the amp, when bridged puts out 200 watts rms. two subs are wired in parallel and can handle 150 watts rms each. so is this amp powerful enough to drive these subs.
yea you should be fine
i figure theres a ratio of power to capacity. the amp will be putting 100 into each sub, and each can handle 150, so the ratio is 2/3. i was thinking if this ratio were with more power, say 400/600 then it would be okay, but since its such a low power amp it might not sound good cuz its not enough power. eh i guess i'll find out.

what brand amp, what brand subs (different companies use different methods to get their ratings)
you know me, sony :D
rated at 200 watts for the amp, that's 100 in sony speak (they rate at high voltage and really low hz) you should have no problem other than the normal sony distortion
distortion? like...at high volumes?
no sony buys from korea and they tend to distort at low volume too (they haven't built their car audio since '96)
oh well. i found the amp and subs for a great price, so if they suck i can just sell em for their regular price and make some dough :D
