Need help finding the right speakers

I want to get my dad some new speakers for his vette and today i took the back grille off and found he had puny 3" infinity speakers in a 6x9" spot. theres a bracket to convert to a smaller size already installed. so then i took the grille off the front speakers in the doors and found factory bose 3.5" speakers. so i know now i have to buy some 6x9s and some 3.5s, but the factory 3.5s have 3 screws. everything i can find has either 2 or 4. is there a certain type with 3 or do i need some sort of bracket like the rear has?

just use 3 it won't matter with such a small speaker, heck even 2 won't hurt, instead of 6x9 garbage sounding speakers (none sound good) get 6 1/2 s and make an adapter

all speakers have slotted holes so the can fit many configurations, 3.5's are cheap (I got a set for 5 bucks once) get a cheapy set and see what happens

i have 1 screw holding each of my 6x9's.lol. thats what came in the car and i couldnt get them to line up right. so since they're on the B pillar they jsut hang from one screw at the top of each.lol
