Check out Powerbass L series 6 1/2 inchers. They are a very potent speaker at an almost entry level price. They should fit nicely as they are not real deep, can easily handle an amp if you choose to add one, and sound great. They also come factory as 3ohm speakers which cheat a little more power from your Cd player without stressing it out. They also have a surprising silk dome tweeter that sounds great. Do a search for powerbass usa and read about them. Very affordable and I have 4 of the L series 5 1/4's in my car and they are hooked up to 55 watts each from an amp and have great sound and tight bass.
