Optima Yellow Top Battery

Does anyone know wich place sells for the best price the optima yellow top battery for bubble civic?

shady_em 01-30-2006 08:39 PM

lil secret on yellow tops, they have worse specs then a top of the line delco battery or interstate and are way more money. id go with a top of the line interstate, they are better spec and have way better warrenty

BBProductions 01-30-2006 08:42 PM

sams club

Dj Pepsi 02-01-2006 07:35 PM

BrowNKiD 02-01-2006 10:54 PM

3000RMS... buddy ur gonna need more than a new battery... maybe like 3 new ones and 2 alternators... and 5 capaitors

BrowNKiD 02-01-2006 10:55 PM

and interstate batteries are garbage... honestly there nothing wrong wit a motomaster

BBProductions 02-01-2006 10:59 PM

3000rms - ad when the hell would u even run tht...
motormaster batteries are same cost as optimas...
imo cheapest place for em is costo / samsclub they are 20$ cheaper

BrowNKiD 02-02-2006 12:36 AM

and i think optima went out of business

brianb 02-02-2006 08:09 AM

Optimas ( i have a red top myself, still prefer my ac delco tho) are good but i agree with brownkid, for that kinda power you should really look into a high output alternator.

munch 02-02-2006 06:53 PM

new alternator

3 batteries 2 alternators and 5 caps....dude you're joking right?
Don't give misinformation if you don't know what you're talking about.

What system are you running exactly, then we could perhaps suggest what you need and don't need, and why your system keeps cutting out.

obviously i was jokin... and who are u again? dont try to be a smart ass pls... wat makes u so qualified and how do u know that i dont know wat im talkin about? if ur running 3000rms in a civic ur gonna need a lot more than a battery... ur gonna need at least 2 definatly a new alternator and a really big cap...

We don't even know if the guy is running "3000 rms" which is why I said he should tell us what setup he has so we can figure how how to help.
What does it matter who I am?

JusBlaze 02-10-2006 11:42 AM

if you are running 3000 rms i hop u have some 0 gauge wiring...a 200-300 amp alt and a few batteries.

I highly doubt your running that though.
