Exclamation please help! Can this deck be run with a sub?!?

Hey guys i bought this pioneer deck on sale and i dont know if i can actually run it with a subwoofer! it says on the specs that it doesnt have a sub volume control...does this mean i cant run it with a subwoofer? or would i be able to, but just not be able to control the volume? does subs have adjustments on themselves seperate from the deck that allows you to adjust volume? Here is the link to deck:

http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10 095547&catid=21981

also, i looked at the instruction manual and it shows that i can run to seperate rear speakers (assuming as subs) so i do assume i can use a sub, but how would i control volume? im only freaking because my time to return it has already ran out, so if i go back there i have to fight with them, and i only want to do that if it is non sub compatible

any help would be great guys
thanks
matthew

You can still run a sub, you just won't have a seperate volume control for it.

so that means the sub would be running full blast at all times? is there a way to control how much volume the sub would be putting out from the sub itself instead of the deck? Also, would all the bass be channelled to the sub only just by having the sub hooked up even though there are no controls on the deck for that?

You will get the full rear output to your sub amp, you can set the gain at the amp to a level you are happy with, some amps come with a bass control **** that will control the levels or you can an rca to rca adaptor that has a control ****. Either way there are a few options you can go with. In my opinion I would see if you can give the deck back and trade up to a higher model.
