What portable auto GPS are people using? I've heard great things about Garmin's but what's the best all 'round model? I'm thinking price range to be from $200 to $350. Some have mentioned the Garmin 250, 250W, 260, 350, and 360. Any experiences with those? Thanks!

i have the 250w and i love it. it has everything you need. the difference between the 250 and the 250w is that it is wide screen which makes viewing alot better to see. i just got back from a trip to L.A and i was using it down there...made the trip alot more enjoyable, since i didnt have to plan for things to see all by highway and closest exit....it took me all over the city(fastest route), so we got to see alot more.

If your looking to spend a little more, go with the TomTom Go 720, I have had mine for a couple of months and I love it. The Voice Input is great for entering in information without having to type it on the keyboard, and the MapShare feature is a great thing if you live in Contructario. I picked mine up off E-Bay for $350 including a case, mount, and Car adapter

Thanks. Yeah, I like the bigger screen. I think there's a 260W now as well. Will definitely check those out.

That was one of the ones I first looked at. Someone told me not to go with TomTom however. Said they had problems with updating maps. Maybe it was a one-time issue. Thanks for input.

The Navigon From Futureshop or The Source. Easy interface, better maping characteristics, and you can watch the demo to see for yourself. You'll like it.
