What does RMS stand for and what does it mean?

RMS = root mean square
its like the average of the watt handling, when ur talking about amps and subs most people will suggest that you NOT look at the peak power but the rms instead, it gives u a better indication of what you'll get for your money since the rms is what your gonna be playing at most of the time, not the peak
